Once upon a time, there were three writers who loved to talk about all things writing. But one of them loved story structure and plotting most of all (more than the actual writing itself, some might say). And so, encouraged by her fellow scribes, this writer set out to share everything that she’d learned about structuring and outlining stories — by taking apart the novels, movies, and even tv shows that she consumed.
Plotopsy is all about the plot. Whether it’s an action-packed fantasy or a soft and sweet romance, all stories have a plot — which means they have an underlying structure. And no matter if the author used the Three-Act structure, the Story Circle, or Save The Cat, most of the time, the plot would still turn out the same way. And that’s what we’ll be digging into in our videos.
